About Us
Well Homed is an Elkton MD residential assisted living facility. Well Homed was created to provide a caring and warm environment where people feel loved, valued, respected, and appreciated. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with our neighbours and their families. You will feel happier within 90 days than you did when you joined our household.
Well Homed Assisted Living believes in providing compassionate, high-quality care in a safe and rewarding environment. We encourage residents to continue their social and active lives through Assisted Living Treatment. We believe that residents who require daily living activities do not lose their independence and uniqueness.
Singerly
Singerly is our first home and has been in the Cecil Area for more than 13 years. Singerly has two spaces available: a sunroom and a large front porch. Singerly is known for its kindness and caring nature. Singerly is a regular participant in the community and enjoys participating in many of the celebrations that locals enjoy with their families. Singerly was the first to take the first step towards senior care. They are both relatives and will be the criteria for senior care in Cecil Area.
What is assisted living?
An assisted living facility is a residential community that preserves independence for older adults.
In assisted living communities, senior homeowners live in their bedrooms. They can keep their lives in order and can access many social activities and events.
What is In-Home Care?
At-home caregivers can visit moms and dads at their homes or provide rehabilitation or health center services.
In-home caregivers can also be called buddies or non-medical home care providers. You can choose from a variety of services, depending on your loved one’s needs and the care plan you have together. For example, moms and dads can have help with daily activities like dressing, washing, and moving.
Many people believe that staying in one’s home is cheaper than moving into an assisted living facility. Family members often disagree about the best senior care option for an older relative or someone with a chronic condition.

Even if the loved one does not have to take out a mortgage, it can be difficult to justify paying monthly fees for assisted-living communities. People stop working due to not considering the cost senior citizens might be required to pay.

Understanding the benefits and drawbacks of assisted living
As with home care, assisted living allows seniors to live independently longer. Assistive living residents live in comfortable and inviting apartments. They can rest assured that caregivers are always available for them, 24 hours a days.
If you or your loved one have a repeating need or a specific need, assisted living may be the best choice. These situations are worth considering.
- They have trouble managing their medication and refilling prescriptions.
- No longer do you need to drive. You can access transportation.
- There are movement issues that could increase the likelihood of falling.
- We have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia.
- They live in an older home that isn’t designed for seniors’ safety.
